Vitaline's Alka-Aid is a balanced formula containing sodium bicarbonate in a 2:1 ratio with potassium bicarbonate. This formula was specially developed for physicians utilizing the Heidelberg pH Gastrogram.

Recommendations: Take 2 tablets as acid indigestion occurs. Repeat every 4 hours, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

Warnings: Swallow whole: do not dissolve in mouth or chew. Do not use this product if you are on a sodium-restricted diet or are currently taking a prescription drug, unless directed by your healthcare practitioner. Do not use if you have kidney disease. Do not take more than 12 tablets in a 24 hour period. Do not use for more than 2 weeks.
